This is a rare 1896 HARDY BROS " THE FIELD" Fly
reel. A narrow drum 3 5/8" diameter. It is brass and alloy construction, having all of its original blue finish.
It is a true collectors piece having the words " HARDY'S PAT THE FIELD" stamped on the face plate. It has brass
pillars and foot. The reel has a strong crisp ratchet.These early reels are very scarce, they seized production in 1907. Hence
it being a highly collectable reel.

This is a very rare HARDY BROS
3 3/8" ST.GEORGE MULTIPLIER reel. Its in good condition, with no damage or repairs. It has an agate line guide with
no chips or cracks. It is the earlier 1920s model with high set handle plate. Having a nickel silver tension adjuster. It
has a three screw drum release catch. Its ribbed brass foot has not been shortened or altered.A true collectors reel in fine
condition & very hard to find.

This is a Allcock Aerial SCARCE HALF EBONITE
( the rear flange being ebonite). It is size 3 1/2" diameter.. It has the more appealing block lettering THE ALLCOCK AERIAL
REEL S. ALLCOCK & Co LTD REDDITCH ENGLAND on the backplate.The front flange also has the PATENT stamp. It is good
condition with no wobble.The brass foot not filed or shortened. It has beautiful forward tapered twin turned ivorine
handles. Having a spoked tension adjuster and a ratchet on/off button on the backplate. A very good collectable & usable
reel.Very difficult to find.

reel 3 3/4" diameter. It has a smooth brass foot correct length with no alterations. Having a 3 screw drum release catch
and an ebonite handle. It has most of its original leaded finish. It has an agate line guide (chipped) set in a
HARDY stamped nickel frame. The check mechanism is nice and crisp, and has an early nickel siver knurled tension adjusting
screw.This has this has the scarce shallow drum. A nice collectable reel.

A very rare Hardy Bros 1932 1st model MK1 Altex reel.
Known as the Ducks Foot, having the turned down body and the removable sideplate which reveals the inner workings
of the reel.In good original condition, the foot is original length not shortened or filed. An excellent collectors reel being
very hard to find, these reels were sold by Hardys in 1932 for over £5, a big sum then. This was a break through in the developement
of the fixed spool reel having the invention of the full bail arm. A very important reel.
